Investor Seminars

The Australian Country Lifestyle & Agribusiness Investment Roadshow (May 13th-22nd, 2017) – A busy and productive week across China!

Our Ray White Rural team spent a busy week facilitating Australian agribusiness investment presentations in the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Jingmen and Yichang.

The majority of the week was spent in Shanghai attending and facilitating investor meetings at SIAL, Asia’s largest food and beverage exhibition. The exhibition held over 3 days, attracted more than 75,000 visitors from across China and the greater Asian Pacific region. Visitors had the ability to meet with over 3,000 exhibitors including a strong Australian contingent supported by State and Federal Government representatives.

In the cities of Jingmen and Yichang our team spent time with Hubei Xinyangfeng Fertiliser Company Ltd., one of China’s largest fertiliser manufacturers and distributors. The company introduced our team to range of farming clients seeking to invest abroad with several discussions now proceeding to site inspections in Australia.

Beijing & Tianjin (November 15th-20th November, 2015) – An outstanding success!

Between the 15th and 22nd of November in partnership with Lets Go (China) conducted a series of Australian agribusiness investment seminars in the cities of Beijing and Tianjin.

Supported by CBRE, Elders Live Export, Total Livestock Genetics, Hunt and Hunt and NBM Dairy Solutions (Indonesia), the seminars also featured presentations by Austrade, Trade and Investment Queensland, City of Melbourne and the secretary-general from Tianjin Chamber of Commerce (Beijing). Coordinated, marketed and managed by Lets Go, the seminars attracted more than 100 Chinese investors from sectors including beef, dairy, cropping, animal genetics, distribution logistics and investment banking.

Both events provided our international delegates with the perfect forum to meet, network and showcase their industry experience with an engaged investor audience.

Additional activities conducted throughout the week included Chinese business etiquette training at Lets Go’s Tianjin head office, guided tours of new livestock quarantine facilities, a visit to one of Bright Dairies largest processing plants in Northern China and a morning spent at Beijing’s International Food and Dairy Exhibition.

In March 2016 and Lets Go hosted a delegation of Chinese agribusiness investors across the Eastern States of Australia. Delegation participants included senior leadership from the Shaan Xi Halal Food Chamber of Commerce and private company representatives from within China’s dairy, fertilizer, animal genetics and pharmaceutical sectors.
